CP GP9 #8819 and F7B #4462

: Milk River, ALTA, Canada, Summer, 1971

On route 4 from Greengrass to Lethbridge, ALTA, met this CP southbound train.
In the photo are CP GP9 #8819 and F7B #4462.

CP #8819 was built in 1958. She was rebuilt and chop-nosed to GP9u #1548 in 1993.
CP #4462 was built in 1953. She was renumbered to #6801 in 1983. She became slug unit #1019 in 1995 and retired in 1999.
