LN E6A #770

At the Kentucky Railway Museum in Louisville, found this preserved locomotive.
This is LN E6A #770, one of the only two EMD E6s survive. LN #770 was built in 1942 and retired in 1968.
The locomotive and the museum was moved to nearby New Haven, KY in 1990.

EMD E6 was built between 1939 and 1942 with 2000hp prime movers. 92 units were sold in the United States.
