Sleepy Hollow Motel is located at the center of Green River, Utah on 45 E Main St (US Hwy 50 & 6).

This ranch-style commercial structure was built in 1955 by Vail Frank(1922 – 1986) and Betsy Ross Thomson(1927 – 2017) Hatt[1]. Vail was the mayor of the city and he also owned River Terrace Inn besides Sleepy Hollow Motel. Today, both facilities are owned by their grandson William Travis Bacon.

The motel is named after the short story The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving first published in 1820.
