This D&RGW MOW flat car is found at Green River, Utah. It still keeps the original scheme including the flying Rio Grande logo.

D&RGW AX-3215 is one of AX-3210 to -3219 series Rail Panel Cars. These cars were converted in 1967 from 22000-22199 series 15 pockets, riveted side, AAR design flat cars built in 1944 by Mt. Vernon Car Manufacturing Co.

The D&RGW series 22000 to 22199 is shown with AAR Designation FM and description “Flat, Stl., Under fr.” The inside length of these cars is 53 feet 6 inches, inside width 10 feet 6 inches, outside length 53 feet 6 inches, extreme height 5 feet 3 inches, and capacity 110,000 pounds.
