Reminder of the 70's along Rio Grande 21 – Arbon Cafe, Green River, Utah

Arbon Cafe was located at the center of Green River, Utah on 45 S Broadway.

According to Utah Division of State History (UDSH), this one-part block commercial structure was built in 1920[1].

Charles Pennock(1910 – 1963) and Molly Marche(1908 – 1973) Tasker opened the cafe in 1948[2,3]. Anthony M. "Tony" (1921 – 1986) and Allene A. S(a)padafora succeeded the business in 1973[4]. 1978 ad boasted it as Continental Bus station Where The Cooking Is An Art[5]. Unfortunately, it is no longer in business.

The postcard shown above seems a ready-made with the letters added by order.

Arbon CafeはGreen Riverの町の中心部、S Broadway沿いにあった1948年創業のカフェ。1970年代初めまで創業者であるCharles Taskerという人が経営していたようだ。現在は残念ながら閉店している。
