On route 16 between Edmonton and the Jasper National Park, met this CN westbound freight train raising the white flag high above the cab. In the photo are CN F7 #9106 and GP9 #4219.

CN #4219 was built in 1957 as CN #4601, but was renumbered to #4219 in the same year. She was rebuilt to GP9RM #4101 in 1984 and retired in 2001.

Outside braced boxcar next to GP9 is also interesting.

En route 16 from Edmonton to the Jasper National Park, met this CN passenger train.
This is the westbound "Super Continental" as we can see "Sceneramic", ex-MILW "Super Dome", car in the consist.

MILW "Super Dome" was built in 1952 by Pullman-Standard. 10 cars were built and assigned to Hiawatha services. CN purchased six of them in 1964.
