Amtrak, ex-NP Glendive Station

: Glendive MT, summer, 1971

Our family stayed a night at Glendive, MT. We visited the engine yard and the station early in the evening.

From here, NP "North Coast Limited" until April 1970, Amtrak "North Coast Hiawatha" after that until 1979, should have taken me up to the Pacific. Only the model-like lights enliven the platform.

元NORTHERN PACIFIC、当時BURLINGTON NORTHERNのモンタナ州における地方都市Glendiveの駅プラットホームである。いささか緩んだレンガ敷きがいい風合いを醸し出している。ここはかつて"North Coast Limited"の停車駅であった。
