Works - DRGW Wood-side MOW Foreman Office Car X2390 - 01

I decided to make MOW cars.
I bought "CREW CAR" kits from TICHY TRAIN GROUP. After receiving the kits, I found out that I needed 7/8 rib ends to make Rio Grande MOW cars shown in the MSCG, as the kits had wood ends. I imported 2 cars, Atlas USRA Single Sheathed Box Cars #41700, to obtain them.


Rio Grandeの事業用車を作ろうと思い立った。
MSCGに写真が載っている車両に近い形のキットを購入した。TICHY TRAIN GROUPから出ている"CREW CAR" #2703である。ランナーに、板張りを表現した妻板や側板、床などが付いたプラモデルのようなキットであった。ところがMSCGに載っているRio Grandeの事業用車はどれも金属製の妻板である。
あまりに印象が違うので、Atlasから出ているUSRA Single Sheathed Box Carと合成することにした。

Ｗow! I'm always amazed to see such quality work from another part of the world. Your modeling is top level and I think people are always amazed to see this type of work so far from the prototype.
